Our Story
FootballAid Uganda was born out of a passion for football and a deep-rooted desire to make a difference in the lives of young Ugandans. The idea was developed in 2019 through helping young talented individuals with the little he had, and later on put onto a large scale in 2024 involving academies from different regions of Buganda. This initiative was put into action by a former player. The idea has grown from a small local initiative to a country wide movement.
What started as an idea in the suburbs of Kajjansi has blossomed into a comprehensive program that helps to modify the training environment of young footballers across Uganda. Our journey has been one of perseverance, growth, and unwavering commitment to nurturing talent and building character through the beautiful game of football.
To create a vibrant community that nurtures, supports, and inspires young footballers to reach their full potential both on and off the field, fostering not just athletic excellence but also personal growth and life skills.
Our vision is to harness the power of football to transform the lives of young Ugandans, empowering them to reach their full potential and become active, responsible, and productive citizens who drive positive change in their communities.
